Queensland Part 5

On the last day of our trip, we explored South Bank in Brisbane during the day. We had lunch in Thai Restaurant, had snack in Movenpick and had afternoon tea in TLicious.. After that we wandered through every corner of South Bank: from Parklands, Little Stanley, Grey Street to River Quay

The most fascinating thing from South Bank to me is the Streets Beach, which is man-made swimming beach near the Brisbane River

INSPIRATION: My Handbag Wishlist

Celine Classic Box
For me a handbag is like a piece of jewelry and a worthy investment in fashion. I have learnt three things so far. First, try to avoid shiny bright handbag to lessen the chance of colour transfer and discolouration. Second, choose classic handbag or the "It Bag" from your favourite brand so you could use it for long time and even grant it to your daughter. Third, take advantage of tax refund from travelling overseas. Generally, most countries offer tax refund range between 5% and 10% with minimum spending vary from $100 to $300.

Queensland Part 2

I am sorry for being absent from updating my blog. As I mentioned last week, I will go back to Indonesia for good after completing my study in Australia (3 years in Melbourne and 1.5 years in Sydney), and hence I was busy packing tons of my belongings. Thankfully my mom visited me to help me packing all of my goods, since she is an expert in packing. I, as her warmhearted daughter, would like to thank her for her kindness by guiding her for shopping tour in Sydney. However, my mom is more big-hearted than her daughter, she even bought me another bunch of clothes and forgetting about our 60kg baggage allowance.

Finally, we are successful to store my belongings in two big baggage with 54 kg in total, two hand-carry bags, two handbags, and two big boxes that we left in Sydney (see what I said, she is an expert in packing!). I will go back to Sydney in the beginning of October for my graduation ceremony and to take those two boxes.

And finally, here I am in Indonesia…  Yeaahh… However, my misery hasn’t end: the end of packing means the beginning of unpacking. I still have three big boxes that just got delivered from Melbourne and another bunch of clothes in my wardrobe at my hometown. Luckily, there are many people here at my home that are willing to help me to unpack all of those boxes and baggage, and organize my wardrobe as well.

Anyway, I am so happy today that I could get Internet connection, so that I could update my journey in Queensland. All of these photos below were taken in Dream World Gold Coast.
